Accessibility
Tax information should be usable by everyone.
Built into this release
- Semantic headings and labelled form controls.
- Keyboard-visible focus indicators.
- A skip-to-content link.
- Text alternatives / hidden labels for non-text controls.
- Responsive layouts for narrow screens.
- Reduced-motion support using the user’s operating-system preference.
- Results communicated in text rather than colour alone.
Pre-launch verification
Before a public production launch, the site should be run through automated accessibility checks and a manual keyboard/screen-reader review, including the full five-step checker, errors and PDF-report path.
Known scope
The current repository is a release candidate. If a user encounters an accessibility barrier, the live product should publish a support contact and remediation process before accepting public traffic.
