✓TaxCheckIrish tax checker
Terms of use

An estimate, not a Revenue assessment.

Use of the checker means you understand the scope below.

Independent service

TaxCheck is an independent tax calculation and eligibility-aid product. It is not Revenue, is not affiliated with Revenue and does not issue a Statement of Liability.

No filing or representation

The checker does not submit a tax return, amend your Revenue record, claim a credit on your behalf, communicate with Revenue or represent you before Revenue.

Accuracy and scope

Calculations are based on the selected supported tax year and the information entered. The PAYE checker is not intended to calculate every Irish tax situation. Self-employed profits, rental and foreign income, many benefit-in-kind cases, capital gains, Capital Acquisitions Tax and other specialist items can change the result.

PRSI

PRSI is not included in the headline refund or underpayment comparison. PAYE end-of-year balancing and PRSI can involve different rules and pay-period information.

Eligibility

A displayed credit or relief is an estimate based on your selections. You remain responsible for confirming that Revenue’s legal conditions are met and for retaining supporting records.

Before relying on a result

Compare TaxCheck with your Revenue Preliminary End of Year Statement or Statement of Liability. Where a situation is complex, material or uncertain, obtain Revenue guidance or appropriate professional tax advice.

Availability

The service may be changed to reflect legislation, Revenue guidance, Budget measures or product improvements. Historical calculations should always use the rule pack for the year concerned.
